The sun is blazing, the asphalt is glowing – and that's exactly why there's hardly anything better than experiencing summer on two wheels. Even better? When the perfect tour also includes a jump into cool water. We'll show you 7 tours where you'll get your money's worth as a rider and can refresh yourself along the way or at the destination in one of Switzerland's most beautiful swimming spots (and the nearby Black Forest). Don't forget your swimming trunks!

1. Lake Geneva to Lake Biel: Curves, Jura and straight into the lake!

This Western Swiss route is a real highlight: From Lake Geneva over the Jura to Lake Biel.

Perfect for a summer day with a stop by the water: Those who still fancy cooling off after the Marchairuz and Chasseral can treat themselves to a jump into the Biel Lake swimming pool Aqua (Biel) or into the charming beach resort Le Pont at Lac de Joux – summer feeling guaranteed.

2. Alpine Passes & Lake Spot

This tour truly has everything: From Brünig Pass via Jaun Pass to Schallenberg, you'll ride through genuine postcard material – lakes, Alps, curves and even culinary highlights like Chässchnitte in Eriz or the legendary Egghus burger in Marbach.

And the best part: Anyone who needs to cool down after so much curve pleasure can make a detour to the charming Plage de Corbières on Lake Gruyère. Quiet, relaxed, perfect for winding down.

3. Curves in the Emmental & the jump into the lake

This tour is perfect for relaxed summer rides – whether as a beginner or connoisseur: From Lake Türlen, it goes on quiet, well-developed main roads through the Lucerne hinterland, into the green Entlebuch and further into the idyllic Emmental.

Between Alpine views, cookie stops at Kambly and the typical Bernese farmhouse charm, the route invites you to cruise at a relaxed pace.

And at the end? Swimming time! The Seerose lido at Türlersee is located directly on the route – perfect for a well-deserved cool-down after your tour.

4. Grisons Passes & a lake like from a picture book

Splügen. Maloja. Julier. Three of the most impressive Alpine passes in Graubünden await you – and in between, a detour to the gigantic dam wall at Lago di Lei. 74 (!) hairpin bends over the Splügen Pass, ultra-winding through the Bergell valley and back via Silvaplana – this tour is nothing for boring straight-line drivers.

And after so much curve action? A break at the dreamlike Lej Marsch near Silvaplana. The pristine mountain lake is not directly on the route, but only a few minutes away – and perfect for cooling off with a view.

5. Black Forest relaxed: Feldberg, Coaster & Aqua-Fun

This route through the southern Black Forest is perfect for anyone who prefers to take it easy – ideal for new drivers, relaxed cruisers and anyone who simply wants to enjoy the views.

Start and finish: the beautiful Schluchsee, one of the largest and most popular swimming lakes in the Black Forest. Before or after your tour, it's worth taking a dip in the cool water or visiting Aqua Fun Schluchsee, the bathing spot with mountain views.

In between, highlights await such as the Feldberg Pass, charming Todtnau with its summer toboggan run & coaster action – and naturally plenty of Black Forest idyll along the route.

From Rafz to Kreuzlingen, it's a leisurely ride on well-developed main roads through charming villages and along the Rhine – perfect for relaxed Sunday drives or for anyone who likes to take it easy. Highlight: the impressive Rhine Falls. And when it gets really hot, the idyllic lakeside pool in Stein am Rhein awaits you – cooling off included.

The last kilometers lead directly along Lake Constance – with the best view of our German neighbors and plenty of panorama.

7. Pure driving pleasure in Central Switzerland and then: Lake reset!

This Central Swiss route has what it takes: Four passes, some without center dividers, with old surfaces, tight curves – and that's exactly what makes it simply fantastic.

From Sihlbrugg it goes over side roads and highlights like the Ratenpass, the historic Ibergeregg or the remote curving splendor at Wägitalersee – here it gets really adventurous. The old asphalt? Makes it exciting. The curves? Pure fun.

Tip: After all the thrills of the curves, a detour to the Sihlseebadi or to the Aegerisee beach is worthwhile – perfect spots for cooling off and a short breather with a view.

So: helmet on, enjoy the curves and then off into the cool water. We wish you a refreshing ride and many beautiful pool moments!
