Membership
We are extremely pleased that you have decided to support us in our endeavour to become the best motorbike app in Switzerland! With your help, we can continue to grow and improve every day.
We are aware that we are still at the beginning and that not everything may work perfectly yet. We therefore ask you to bear with us this summer (2025) if the app crashes or something else doesn't work. We would also be very pleased if you could report bugs and crashes to info@thetours.ch so that we can investigate them more quickly and offer you a better user experience.
For which features do I need a membership?
Currently (as of April 2023) the following functions are subject to a fee:
Navigate without frills
Create wish list
Export tours
Import tours
Generate circuit

What does a membership cost?
We currently offer the following options:
CHF 8.00 / week
CHF 10.00 / month
CHF 50.00 / year
All subscriptions can be cancelled at any time
Why do I have to pay for these features?
As described in the introduction, we want to continuously develop the app. To do this, we need time and money (mostly for external programmers and licences). None of us will become a millionaire with this app. We do it out of passion for our hobby, motorbike riding.
Contracts with Apple and Google
Our app is comparatively small and we offer our services via the Google PlayStore or the Apple AppStore. As a result, we are not the direct contractual partner in the purchase agreement for the app. For this reason, the guidelines of Apple and Google are authoritative.
Membership is tied to your operating system
It is not possible to use a subscription purchased from Apple on Google and vice versa. If you use two mobile phones with different operating systems, you cannot transfer the membership.
Membership cancellation
If memberships are not cancelled at least 24 hours before automatic renewal, they will be automatically renewed and it is not possible to cancel them afterwards.
