The Puerto de Los Tornos - also known as Puerto de San Fernándo - offers a long, varied mountain passage. The route is well developed and ideal for enjoyable motorcycling thanks to its many, mostly flowing Curves. The radii change from long curves to a few tighter Hairpins, especially in the higher passages around 920 meters above sea level. Overall, the gradient remains moderate, but individual short ramps have gradients of up to 25 percent. The road is wide and has center markings throughout.
As a connecting road, the Puerto de Los Tornos is primarily of regional importance and offers a pleasant alternative to the major long-distance routes. The volume of traffic is usually moderate.
