The Puerto de la Cruz de Hierro offers an asphalted, well-developed and winding Pass road. The road is rather narrow, but is very pleasant to drive on with gradients of up to 12 percent. There is no marked central reservation. Overall, the Route is manageable at Difficulty level 3 and is therefore also suitable for beginners with a basic routine, while experienced riders will appreciate the fluid alternation of open turns and tighter curves.

The volume of traffic is usually low to moderate.
