The Grimsel Pass is one of the busiest Alpine passes in Switzerland and is characterized by a well-developed, winding Pass road. The 18 Switchbacks are easy and pleasant to drive. The ascent from Gletsch to the Pass summit consists almost exclusively of curves, which is accompanied by a corresponding gradient.
Caution: On nice days, you can expect a lot of traffic and the Mountain pass is popular with racing cyclists.
