The Ammersattel is a Pass road with few bends, with the only Hairpin on the entire route being just before the Pass summit. The road is well constructed, asphalted and for the most part has no central reservation. Narrow sections are rare, as the road is generally wide enough. There may be an increased volume of traffic on vacations and public holidays.
